Up and Running

Here are some pictures of when he first started walking....of course he is learning to play basketball as well.

Chuck E. Cheese

Jackson went to his first visit to Chuck E. Cheese. He absolutely loved it (and so did Daddy...he just won't admit it). I see more in our near future.

Playing with Keeton

Cousin Keeton was able to come with us Thursday night after Luke's first game and spend time with Jackson. They had so much fun together!!

Trip to Texas to watch Uncle Luke

Jackson and I went to Texas last week to watch Uncle Luke play his last two college basketball games. We are so glad that we were able to go! Here are some pictures of our adventure!

If you can't hit with the Big Dogs, Then STAY OFF THE FIELD!

Jackson and Luke are shown here displaying their matching Big Dog shirts! Jackson LOVES Luke.....I mean LOVES Luke. He follows Luke around EVERYWHERE....We couldn't ask for a better role model for Jackson. Jackson is loving baseball and can't wait to watch Luke play here in a couple of weeks. By the way, he sure is swinging the bat really well. His Uncle Luke and Uncle Landry bought him a Tee-Ball set for Christmas and he loves playing with it. I might add he swings left-handed...

He is Up and Running....

Yes, the title is correct. Jackson is walking---finally! We stressed and stressed about him not walking for the past couple of months and I think now are regretting it! Everyone kept telling me most babies don't walk until 14 to 15 months and he did it a week before his 15 month birthday. Thursday night Jody and I were having him walk between us and before we knew it he was walking past me into his bedroom and then chasing Jody around the house. Friday he walked about half of the time but Saturday he really took off! We have been working him out on a basketball goal everyday :) since. Actually, that is one of his favorite activities---he is so proud of himself when he makes a basket.
It is so amazing the changes they make in their first couple of years of life. It is hard to believe 15 months ago he was a tiny little baby and now he is up walking everywhere.
We are making adjustments being home together. We are starting to go on some outings this week and get into a routine. The first couple of days were extremely difficult on me---only because I was stressed about the boxes needing to be unpacked...they are and we are slowly making our house our home once again. My camera is still not uploading to the computer--we think we found out the problem so as soon as it is fixed I will get pictures posted so you can see him in ACTION!!

News

We arrived safe and sound in Tennessee on Friday, January 2nd. Molly and Jackson are both enjoying the house. I am not working out here which will be an adjustment, but I know I will enjoy it. Right now I am busy trying to unpack and get back in the swing of things. We were able to spend a little time with our families in Perryton and Petersburg before heading out this way. I have a ton of pictures from those trips but the cord to our camera isn't allowing me to load them to our computer. As soon as I figure that out, I will post pictures so you can see how much Jackson has grown.
