2011....It's already over? The first half.....

My grandmother received a new iPad for Christmas, and when sending her the link, I realized how little I had updated this year. It could be the craziness of life with two children...or being lazy. Thinking the second reason weighs more heavily.

A glance at the first half of 2011....

January provided lots of snow in Tennessee...we didn't go to school much, which was good (for the fact I was 9 months pregnant) or bad because I didn't have much time for writing instruction before the TCAP test (which my students shined on :) ). Jackson had fun building a snowman...more so mommy had fun.....We also took a trip to Dallas over New Year's to watch Texas Tech play in the Ticket City Bowl. It was a quick trip, but very enjoyable!

February was also an exciting month. Mason Keith Nichols was born on February 17th at 8 pounds and 19 1/2 inches long. He was a perfect baby boy and still is pretty sweet. One of my favorite pictures of all times....

My parents came as soon as we arrived home from the hospital to hold down the fort. Glad they did....ended up with a 2nd set of tubes for Jackson. Thank you Dr. Gross....

March was pretty uneventful...except for the meeting of Mimi and Pops...glad they were able to come!

April provided for SOCCER SHOTS! Jackson went every Saturday morning to play soccer (drills...score some goals). He loved it. Aunt J'Rae and Uncle Javier also came for a visit...

May...ended up finishing school...and more SOCCER! Thankful for a great school year! Here is a picture of Mason sitting in the boppy...growing way too fast!

June...Paige came to stay with us for a couple of weeks and then we took a road trip to Texas...
